CartFit ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the CartFit mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve the CartFit service:

• Account information: Name and email address provided via Sign in with Apple or Google.
• Profile data: Height, weight, age, sex, activity level, and fitness goal that you enter in the app.
• Usage data: Meal plans, food logs, water tracking data, and app preferences stored on your device and in our database.
• Profile photo: If you choose to upload one, it is stored securely in our cloud storage.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to provide the CartFit service:

• To calculate your personalized daily calorie and macro targets
• To generate your daily and weekly meal plans
• To sync your data across devices via your account
• To send water reminders if you enable notifications

Data Storage

Your account and profile data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Local data such as your weekly plan preferences and water tracking is stored on your device using AsyncStorage.

Third-Party Services

CartFit uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple Sign In / Google OAuth — authentication
• Open Food Facts — barcode-based food data lookup

These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. This permanently deletes your profile, meal data, and all associated information from our servers. You may also contact us at costcofitme@gmail.com to request data deletion.

Children's Privacy

CartFit is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
