Welcome to CostcoFitMe. By downloading or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CostcoFitMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

CostcoFitMe is a nutrition and meal planning application that generates personalized meal plans using Costco and Kirkland brand products. The app calculates calorie and macro targets based on user-provided body measurements and fitness goals.

3. Health Disclaimer

Important: CostcoFitMe is not a medical application. The calorie and nutrition information provided is for general wellness purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new diet or exercise program, especially if you have existing health conditions.

The Mifflin-St Jeor formula used for calorie calculations provides estimates only. Individual results may vary.

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the app. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about yourself
• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use CostcoFitMe.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

CostcoFitMe offers optional Pro subscriptions with the following terms:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• A 7-day free trial may be offered to new subscribers

6. Free Plan Limitations

The free plan includes access to the daily meal plan only. Pro features including the 7-day weekly plan, food tracker, and water tracker require a paid subscription.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
• Share your account with others
• Use the app in any way that could harm other users

8. Intellectual Property

All content in CostcoFitMe, including but not limited to the app design, algorithms, and text, is owned by CostcoFitMe and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

CostcoFitMe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Costco Wholesale Corporation. "Costco" and "Kirkland Signature" are trademarks of Costco Wholesale Corporation.

9. Food Information

Nutritional information in the app is sourced from product labels and the Open Food Facts database. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all nutritional information is current or complete. Always verify nutritional information on product packaging.

10. Limitation of Liability

CostcoFitMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes resulting from following meal plans generated by the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
